Bavarian fruit bread - A popular fruity bread, containing a balanced mix of sunflower seeds, rye flour and sultanas, to give a delicious fruit and nutty taste. Only available on Thursday – be sure to try this weekly treat. Available in 400g sizes only - suitable for vegetarians.

Chia - Chia, a flowering plant, is a member of the mint family and originates from Mexico and South America. Chia's appeal is in the nutritional punch of its tiny seeds.

With more omega-3 fatty acids than salmon, a wealth of antioxidants and minerals, a complete source of protein and more fibre than flax seed, the seeds have been dubbed a "dieter's dream", "the running food", "a miracle", and "the ultimate super food", by advocates and athletes.

Ciabatta - Ciabatta is a light Italian yeast bread which is soft and chewy on the inside with a thin crunchy rustic crust. An ideal accompaniment to any meal, the name ‘ciabatta’ is derived from the Italian word slipper as the loaf is made in the shape of a slipper.
Available as a loaf or roll - suitable for vegetarians.

French Stick - A crisp, crunchy crust and slightly chewy centre make this bread as traditional as the breads served in France. Suitable for vegetarians.

Reduced Gluten Free bread - NEW - Our delicious (reduced) gluten free loaf is freshly made on the premises using a combination of gluten free rice and potato starch mix, olive oil, salt, yeast, water, sunflower seeds, sesamee seeds, linseed, pumpkin seeds and maize semolina.

**PLEASE NOTE - it is made in our bakery which uses traditional gluten flour - hence why it is called reduced gluten free**

Harvester - Sponge Kitchens’ harvester bread is renowned for its distinctive texture and nutty flavour. Also know as granary bread, its unique flavour comes from the malted wheat flakes which are slowly toasted and flaked. A great source of fibre, low in fat and sugars - harvester bread is available in 400g or 800g sizes as well as rolls and is suitable for vegetarians.

Multiseed bread (low GI) - Our most popular bread, as much for its great taste as its nutritional benefits. Very few breads are low Gi - most are in the medium range. Our multiseed bread is one of the few that fall into the low Gi category. The bread is a delicious mix of sunflower, pumpkin and linseed, combined with wheat flour and oat flakes to give a tasty bread with extra bite and a coarse, open texture. Available in 400g or 800g sizes and rolls ands baguettes - suitable for vegetarians.

Oatie Bread - The combination of white flour and oatie flakes gives the ‘oatie’ its distinct flavour and taste. A white loaf with a difference, why not try for yourself this popular soft loaf. Available in 400g or 800g sizes.

Rye and Sunflower Bread - Renowned not only for its rich, hearty taste, but also for its numerous health benefits. Made with a combination of rye and white flour as well as sunflower seeds, rye bread can be beneficial for weight loss, lowering cholesterol levels, preventing cardiovascular diseases and much more.

Sourdough - Our sourdough bread contains white flour, water, salt and olive oil and is made by a long fermentation of dough using naturally occurring lactobacilli and yeasts. It's mildly sour taste makes for a delicious accompaniment to soup and adds a great twist to your normal daily sandwich.

Spelt & Honey - A delicious whole grain bread which is great for people who cannot tolerate wheat. Only made on Thurs, this speciality bread contains spelt flour, sunflower seeds, lupin seeds, sesame, barley malt and honey to give it its sweet distinctive taste.
Contains: Gluten, no wheat, suitable for vegetarians.
